Chapterhouse is a residential conversion on Parker Street in the Seven Dials Conservation Area, Covent Garden WC2, developed by Londonewcastle. The building was originally constructed in the 1890s by architects Gibson and Russell as a London County Council lodging house and was converted into 40 apartments by architect Apt (formerly Robin Partington and Partners), completing in 2019.
Apt retained the four-storey Victorian Parker Street facade and rebuilt the structure behind it, adding a contemporary copper-clad rear extension. The scheme includes studios to duplex penthouses, with private terraces landscaped by Andy Sturgeon. Interior design was delivered by Apt and Trilbey Gordon Interiors. Amenities include a large lobby, basement gym, and private outdoor terraces. Holborn and Covent Garden Underground stations are both within close walking distance.
