Overview

The Goodsyard is a large-scale mixed-use regeneration scheme on a 4.5-hectare former goods depot in Shoreditch, E1, being developed by Ballymore and Hammerson. Planning permission was granted by the Mayor of London in March 2022 for the comprehensive redevelopment of the site.

The masterplan, designed by FaulknerBrowns, is divided into 11 plots to be delivered in stages over the coming decade. Office buildings have been designed by Eric Parry Architects and Buckley Gray Yeoman, with heritage restoration of the Grade II-listed Braithwaite Viaduct arches led by Chris Dyson Architects. The scheme will deliver up to 500 homes, including 50% affordable, alongside 130,000 sq m of offices, retail, and a high line-style elevated public park above the restored railway arches. Shoreditch High Street station is adjacent to the site.
